Compostion
It was a Saturday, and Joreme had invited Chon Mane, Shuan, Culmen and Ryon to his birthday party. Everyone knew they were going to an adventure park, which made everyone let out whoops of delight.
Slowly, everyone arrived, so they started their first game of “Shoot the Person”, whereby you try to shoot a chosen person as many times as possible in five minutes.
No one wanted to be shot at first, so Chon Mane volunteered, but of course Chon Mane was fast and got shot at only two times, both by Ryon who always measured the speed and distance Chon Mane runs at a time.
After Chon Mane, came Shuan, who got shot fifteen times, , and then Culmen, who got shot eleven times. The birthday boy was always the last to be shot at and it always takes place after the cutting of the cake.
“Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to Joreme, Happy Birthday to you!” The other four sang in chorus. Joreme blew the candles, and then cut the chocolate cake.
They filled their stomachs with chicken wings, sotong balls, muffins and cake, and rested for fifteen minutes. Right before the game, Ryon mumbled something to Shuan and Culmen, however Chon Mane overheard while stuffing his mouth with a lot of food:
Chon Mane stopped in his tracks. Without warning, he shouted to them, although it only came out as a mumble.
“What did you say, Chon Mane?” Ryon asked him. Chon Mane chewed and then swallowed, answering:
“You cannot do that! He will be upset and it is a very mean thing to do! Worse still, it is his birthday!”
“Alright, you got me. I will give you my water gun temporarily, but just temporarily.” He surrendered his gun over. Chon Mane took it and hid it in a cupboard in some sort of room. However, Ryon had followed him and knew where he hid it.Chon Mane then walked out of the room without noticing Ryon had just sat down in his seat.
A minute later, Ryon got up. He looked left and right, searching for any sign of Chon Mane. He slipped quietly in the room, opened the cupboard and took out the gun. Then he saw a spare gun lying at the edge of the cupboard. Immediately, a great plan was forming in his head......
On the other hand, Chon Mane had told Joreme what happened. Joreme thought through:Ryon will somehow get the prank done. So, he stuffed his pockets with some brownish-blackish stuff when Chon Mane turned around.
“Here is your gun. I filled it with water already.” Chon Mane told Ryon. He handed it over.
“Thanks.” Just as he said that, the referee shouted start. He slipped the water gun into his pocket, and then taking out the gun filled with cake and water., and shot at him four times. Bull’s eye!
However, just as he was celebrating, he himself got hit in the face by chocolate cake. Again, then again, and finally one gigantic splat landed straight on his face, making him stumble backwards and fall down. He heard laughter, although not able to see but could recognize the voice.
Ryon tried to wipe it all off. He stood up and Joreme gave him a mirror, he looked inside, and could not resist laughing himself.
“Nice try, Joreme. I will get back at you sometime again…” They continued and then ended their game. The birthday party came to a close and Ryon was already formulating a plan…
